The Uk's Online Lens Experts

Delivery times

As soon as we receive your order, an email will be sent to your registered email address to advise that your order is in preparation. As you probably already know, your spectacles are very much a bespoke item, in terms of your unique prescription and measurements. This means that while a frame only order or a simple pair of single vision lenses, into a full rimmed frame, might only take around 5 to 10 working days to arrive, a more complicated order, such as a varifocal or Lindberg re-glaze, could take between 7 to 14 working days to arrive. If you have a complicated prescription or you require varifocal lenses then on some occasions we may have to contact you to verify your prescription, before we can process your order. This can sometimes cause a delay if we are unable to contact you, so it is a good idea to fill in the telephone number field when placing your order.

How will I receive my new glasses?

We use Royal Mail recorded services to ship all our products to both the UK and mainland Europe. For all orders placed within the UK, the shipping method will be Royal Mail standard recorded delivery, charged at the current rate. This usually takes between 2-3 days from the time of dispatch to be delivered to your door, but if you prefer you can choose to have your item shipped by Royal Mail 'guaranteed' special delivery at an extra cost of £7.95, which should ensure that you receive your glasses much quicker, before 1pm the next day from the time of depstach.

All orders placed in mainland Europe, but outside the UK, will be shipped via Royal Mail 'Air Mail'. Air Mail is a secure 'signed for' service which normally takes between 2-3 for delivery, from the time of despatch. Any orders placed outside Europe will be shipped via Royal Mail 'worldwide' or 'Air Mail' and usually takes anywhere between 3-5 working days, depending on which country you reside in. However, some locations outside the UK it can take much longer.

What if I receive a damaged item?

All our glasses frames and prescription lenses go through our 10 point quality control check at our state-of-the-art lens laboratory, before being dispatched to you. However, in the unlikely event that you receive a damaged item or you think that there might be a problem with your prescription, then please call us immediately on 01252 721735 and we will do our very upmost to quickly resolve any issues for you.

What If my frames need adjusting after I’ve received them?

Occasionally when we ship our prescription glasses some customers find that the frames might need a slight adjustment to get them to sit properly, or they find that the frame feels a little loose. If, in the rare instance, you receive a frame from us which just isn’t sitting correctly or feels too tight/loose, then you can take your glasses into your local high street opticians who will only be too glad to adjust them for you for a small charge. Alternatively, you can call us on 01252 721735 and let us know exactly what kind of adjustment is required. Please note:  Many of the major high street opticians uphold an adjustment policy whereby they will not charge customers for minor frame adjustments.
